- Walkie Talkies – everyone knows that having your smartphone by the pool is a big no-no, but there may be times where you still want to talk to your friends but do not want to get out of the pool to do it. You can get a pair of walkie talkies like a pair from Cobra that can cover a thirty-seven mile range and it will float in the water right next to you. It is also ideal for camping trips, with a built-in flashlight and weather and emergency radio receivers.
