- Cooling Collars – A cooling collar can be a great way to help your dog stay cool. The newer designs allow you to immerse the collar in cool water and it activates a polymer inside the collar that inflates it so it creates a cool collar for your dog to wear without it being heavy or uncomfortable.
- Dog Boots – While many people may use dog boots for their pets in the winter months, the fact is that walking your dog on hot pavement, sidewalks or grounds in the summer can be quite painful for them. There are a number of dog boots you can get for your dog that are very breathable and dry quickly if your dog should step in a puddle. The breathable mesh not only protects the paws from the heat but allows your dog to cool properly by sweating through their paws without the moisture getting trapped in the boots.

It will make them much happier during the day and they will be much more likely to want to join you outside if they know they can stay cool just like you can.
