Parallel universes just may actually be out there…

The subject of the existence of parallel universes has caused great furor and discussion in many corners especially among the practitioners of science. Many in the world of science believe that such universes do exist but seem just out of our reach. Not everyone, of course, is enamored with science and not everyone takes their declarations of Absolute Truth to actually be that. For many in the metaphysical and holistic communities, the parallel universes are, indeed, there. For many, it’s all a matter of vibration. We can’t see them or get to them because we are not vibrating at the same frequency as they are.

For science, though, there are more than a few theories. One is that science really doesn’t understand the exact nature of what they call space and time. One theory is that space/time, for them, is flat and just goes out into infinity. In this scenario, the flatness could mean many other universes are out there somewhere as the space/time “highway” spreads out forever.

A cosmologist at Tufts University has developed a theory he calls “eternal inflation”. In this theory, we are all sitting in our own little bubble universe that could be just part of many bubble universes out there whose science of physics is unlike that on Earth. The physicists, the quantum mechanic followers at least, have their own theory known as the “daughter universe” theory. It is based on how particles behave and the probability of outcomes. You make a decision, but, in another universe, your other possible choices have come to be.

A researcher at MIT, in 2012, proposed that it was a simple matter of mathematics. He postulated that there are many universes out there and that they are independent of human action and would exist even if the human race didn’t exist. That would be interesting news to certain extraterrestrial races out there, wouldn’t it?

Then, there is a theory that doesn’t base itself entirely on the practice of science at all. It is, basically, proposed on the notion of many lives lived over many lifetimes. There is a certain universal consciousness out there that is you and always is you. You exist above and beyond a material third dimensional existence. You need to learn certain lessons, the theory goes, before you can be complete and whole again after you had fragmented from the original whole. You can learn those lessons more quickly if you exist in many guises in many different worlds and universes all at the same time.

So, where do you think you really are right now?
